            1. Always use a steel tape measure.
            2. Measure down to the eighth of an inch.
            3. Remember that inside mounts have deductions taken by the factory.
            4. For outside mounts you must add to the width and height. See 
            instructions.
            5. Measure width in three places & use smallest width.
            6. Measure height in three places & use tallest height.
            7. Width always comes first, then height.
            8. Cloth tapes are an option only on certain products.
            9. Valances on horizontals are made a little wider than window. You 
            must request a valance to be exact width if you are mounting blind 
            back toward glass.
            10. Please read online measuring instructions for exact measuring 
            instructions.
            11. Also review the online installation instructions to get a feel 
            for how horizontals mount.
